NEW ! DALSA GEVA Vision Appliance

GEVA is a high-performance industrial controller that offers excellent cost savings for multi-camera vision applications, such as final inspection of large assemblies. As the name implies, GEVA provides expandable Gigabit Ethernet camera interfaces that significantly drive down system cost.

At the heart of GEVA is a powerful dual core processor, equipped with high-speed memory resources to tackle the most demanding applications. Two dedicated camera ports are provided, each with enough bandwidth to easily support eight 640x480 mono cameras imaging parts at 60 per second. The camera ports are compatible with a wide range of mono or color, area and line scan GigE cameras in a range of resolutions.

Aside from camera interfacing, GEVA provides a number of external interfaces for system integration. It includes dedicated display and USB ports for setup and runtime control, a third Gigabit Ethernet port and a serial port for factory communication, dedicated trigger inputs for inspection timing, dedicated strobe outputs for lighting control and optoisolated I/O for associated equipment interfacing.

Vision solutions on GEVA are setup using DALSA's iNspect or Sherlock application software. For performance migration, applications built on other DALSA equipment with the same camera setup will also run on GEVA.

Available with standard (iNspect) or advanced (Sherlock) application software, our Vision Appliance products have been carefully designed to address the needs of a wide range of industries such as Automotive, Consumer, Electronics, Packaging, Pharamceutical and more.

iNspect is a breakthrough machine vision inspection tool designed for a broad range of applications, from precision metrology to pharmaceutical packaging. Wrapped within an easy user interface, iNspect provides a suite of tools that can be readily applied to a multitude of inspection tasks, such as positioning, measuring, identification, verification and flaw detection.

iNspect's straightforward 5-step setup allows users to quickly configure and deploy an application. Each of the inspection tools have been carefully designed to extract the relevant information from the object image. No programming or extensive training is required!

Included with the iNspect software is iLabel, an application designed specifically for the packaging industry that is used to verify the placement and quality of labels on packaged goods.

Sapera Nitrous supports a comprehensive library of highly optimized image processing functions and offers flexible controls to harness the full power of GPU and multi-core CPUs for complex applications. Sapera Nitrous comes bundled with several demos and source code examples to delineate optimum coding practices. Sapera Architect Plus Integrated Development Tools
Sapera Architect Plus offers not only the conventional programming concepts and techniques; it also includes standard debugging and reporting tools to facilitate algorithm development and performance fine tuning. These techniques include breakpoints, single step program execution, stepping in or stepping over subroutines, watch. In addition, the architect Plus supports a broad set of data types and constructs to facilitate algorithm prototyping.

Program Flow Control
The graphical user interface offers functions to control and direct the program flow with iterative loops and conditional branching. Convention conditional branching operators such as IF(), IF/ELSE() and loops including FOR(), WHILE() are supported.



Norpix Troublepix

TroublePix is a digital video recording software designed for factory floor applications or requirements needing a simple user interface. With TroublePix, you can acquire, view and review all within the same user interface. TroublePix provides features such as looping, prepost triggering, event marking and much more. Compatible with GigE, FirewireB, Analog and CameraLink high speed cameras from various manufacturers.

    * TroublePix is ideal for factory floor, laboratory or outdoor applications requiring an easy to use GUI.

    * Focuses on recording images only around a Pre/Post trigger event. Can optionally locate the Pre/Post event using a marker after loading a sequence.
