Amino Communications and Tripleplay are collaborating on a new standalone solution that can provide the latest digital signage techniques in “network free” environments.
The two companies have developed a way of loading content and play out schedules directly onto an Amino device via local storage – providing users with the flexibility to install signage and advertising where an IP network may not exist.
Tripleplay’s Steve Rickless, CEO said: “This latest innovation is based on customer demand for a flexible low cost digital signage solution that can be installed virtually anywhere. Customers don’t always have an IP network to support connectivity – and alternative solutions often depend on bespoke and expensive local hardware.
